Field Repairs
Preventative and timely turf repair ensures a safe, consistent surface.
Seamless Repairs with Pro-Level Tools
Artificial turf fields take a beating especially under the demands of sports leagues, tournaments, and year-round training. Over time, seams separate, inlays lift, edges fray, and infill shifts, all of which compromise player safety, surface performance, and visual appeal.
That’s where we come in.
At Clean Turf Canada, we specialize in professional turf repair services tailored to sports fields of all levels. Whether you manage a community pitch or a competitive stadium, we identify and fix issues before they become liabilities.

Common Turf Repairs We Perform

Seam & Inlay Repairs
Separation along seams or lifting logos/lines? We re-adhere, re-stitch, or replace sections as needed to restore cohesion and prevent further unraveling.
Edge Rework & Reinforcement
Edges are a common failure point especially where turf meets fencing or concrete. We reinforce them for a cleaner, safer finish.
Localized Surface Damage
Burns, rips, or worn-down areas are patched with precision-matched turf, preserving aesthetics and functionality.
Drainage Correction
Ponding or soggy zones indicate drainage failure. We diagnose the issue and improve sub-base or infill compaction to restore water flow.
Infill Recovery in Worn Zones
High-traffic areas like goalmouths or center fields often lose infill depth. We replenish these areas and brush in material for even playability.
GOT
QUESTIONS?
Here are some quick answers to the repair questions we get most often.
If you still have questions, we’re here to help.
What are the most common turf field issues that require repair?
Seam separation, lifted inlays, frayed edges, uneven infill, and worn high-traffic areas are the most common problems. These can pose safety risks and compromise field playability.
How do you fix seam separations on a turf field?
We rebind or resew the seams using professional adhesives or stitching techniques designed for sports-grade durability, ensuring a flush, trip-free surface.
Can inlays like numbers, logos, and lines be repaired or replaced?
Yes. We can reattach, re-seam, or completely replace inlays using matching turf materials to maintain both function and appearance.
What type of equipment do you use for repairs?
We utilize specialized GKB machinery such as the GKB RotoBrush and GKB Renovator to support decompaction, cleaning, and leveling as part of the repair process.
How quickly can repairs be completed?
Most standard repairs are completed within 1–2 days, depending on severity and weather conditions. Emergency services can be arranged for high-use facilities.
Do I need to shut down the entire field for repairs?
In most cases, only the affected areas need to be isolated. We work with your schedule to minimize downtime and field disruption.
How do I know if my field needs repairs or a full replacement?
If the turf base and drainage system are still intact and the issues are localized (seams, inlays, infill), repairs are often sufficient. We provide a full field inspection before recommending next steps
Will repairs affect the field’s playability?
No. Our repairs are done to restore optimal play performance, shock absorption, and visual uniformity—meeting industry standards for ball roll, traction, and athlete safety.
Do you offer repair services during the winter or off-season?
No. Our field repair services are only available during our regular operating season, from April through October. Weather conditions and field accessibility outside of this window typically make repairs impractical or unsafe. We recommend scheduling any major repairs before the end of the season to ensure your field is in top condition for spring.
